Increase the Speed of Firefox 10x

It's always annoying to wait when you click somewhere and it take a long time to respond. Moreover, In the country like India, where people mostly use slow connections, it becomes most annoying. So, to solve their problem, I am going to post a trick to increase Firefox speed to some extent. Here we go.....

Before starting this, do remember to note the original settings, so that you can restore the previous settings if the problem occurs.....
You need to follow the steps mentioned below to increase Firefox speed.
  1. Type “about:config” (Avoid Double Quotes) into Firefox Url and hit Enter. (A warning would be displayed, ignore it.)
  2. Alter the entries as follows: (Double Click on it)
  3. Set “network.http.pipelining” to “true”
  4. Set “network.http.proxy.pipelining” to “true”
  5. Set “network.http.pipelining.maxrequests” to  some number like 15. This means it will make 15 requests at once.
  6. Lastly, right-click anywhere and select New- > Integer. Name it “nglayout.initialpaint.delay” and set its value to “0“
(This value is the time the browser waits before it acts on information it receives. If you’re using a broadband or a dial-up connection you’ll load pages faster now.)
It’s Optional for even faster web browsing.
you might have to create some of these entries by Right Click – > New– >
Integer or String
  • network.dns.disableIPv6: set “false
  • content.notify.backoffcount”: set “5
  • plugin.expose_full_path”: set “true
  • ui.submenuDelay”: set “0
After changing these settings, you can see the increase in the speed of Firefox and it will also use less RAM then before.
So, enjoy fast browsing.....!!!!
